CALL FOR PAPERS

The Walidem International Journal of Community Engagement invites submissions for its Community Service section. The journal welcomes scholarly works that document, analyze, and reflect on research-based community engagement programs with clear social impact and sustainability outcomes.

We encourage manuscripts that report community service initiatives in areas such as community education, economic empowerment, public health, environmental management, socio-cultural development, appropriate technology, and sustainable development. Submissions should demonstrate strong links between academic expertise and community needs, supported by clear methods, implementation processes, outcomes, and reflections.

Interdisciplinary and cross-sector approaches involving universities, communities, government, and civil society are highly encouraged. The journal also values innovative models, best practices, and lessons learned that can be replicated or scaled in different contexts.

Through this platform, we aim to strengthen meaningful community engagement and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
