Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

DEUJIS accepts manuscripts for publication of research results and original thoughts on Islam in English, Arabic or Indonesian, provided that the manuscripts have not been submitted or published by other publications. Manuscripts sent to the Journal of Deujis must be accompanied by a statement of the authenticity of the manuscript. Manuscripts are sent through the OJS system or can also be sent via email address: deujiseditor@gmail.com

Writing Format

Articles are written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic.

Abstract (250-300 words) in English. Keywords or keywords 3-5 words/phrases.

INTRODUCTION

(Containing the background of the problem, problem formulation, research objectives, and theoretical framework, which are included in paragraphs, not in the form of sub-chapters).

LITERATURE REVIEW

Theories about the studies or themes studied and relevant previous research.

METHODOLOGY

(Contains the type of research, approach, population and sample, research object, data collection techniques, data sources, and data analysis methods used)

References must use the Mendeley system.

(With the numerical system, references are arranged in the reference list so that they match the order in which they are cited in the text).
