Secondary data were sourced from Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf, regulations from the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI), the OCEG GRC Capability Model, academic books, and national and international articles, all analyzed using content analysis. Results: The application of GRC is proven to enhance transparency, accountability, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulations and Sharia principles. It also optimizes the utilization of productive waqf for real sector development, MSME empowerment, education, healthcare, and socio-economic resilience, although challenges regarding nazhir competence, digitalization, and oversight persist. Implications: This study contributes theoretically to the development of literature on GRC-based waqf governance and offers practical recommendations for the Indonesian Waqf Board, nazhirs, and regulators to establish a professional, transparent, accountable, and sustainable waqf management system. Novelty: This study proposes a GRC-based analysis model for productive waqf management that integrates governance, risk management, regulatory and Sharia compliance, and a Maqashid Sharia orientation into a comprehensive management framework.
2026-07-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Solo International Collaboration and Publication of Social Sciences and Humanitieshttps://journal.walideminstitute.com/index.php/sicopus/article/view/598From Exegesis to Performativity: An Epistemological-Phenomenological Study of the Transformation of Qur'anic Reception in Indonesia2026-07-04T21:05:15+07:00Dwinuryudha Ken Rifqig108240026@student.ums.ac.idAndri Nirwana ANan140@ums.ac.idMuthoifinmut122@ums.ac.id
Objective: This study examines the paradigm shift in the reception of the Qur’an in Indonesia through epistemological and phenomenological perspectives, explaining its transformation from an object of interpretation into a subject of social performativity. Theoretical framework: The study integrates epistemology and phenomenology to analyze shifts in religious authority, meaning construction, and the lived experience of Qur’anic reception in Indonesian society. Literature review: Previous Living Qur’an studies mainly provide descriptive phenomenological accounts while overlooking epistemological dimensions. This study addresses that gap by linking reception practices with the transformation of religious knowledge. Method: A qualitative-philosophical approach is employed, combining epistemological inquiry and phenomenological analysis to interpret the transformation of Qur’anic reception. Results: The findings demonstrate three major transformations in the reception of the Qur’an in Indonesia. First, religious authority has shifted from textual interpretation toward subjective and communal experiences based on the perceived efficacy of Qur’anic practices. Second, phenomenologically, these practices reflect an internalization of meaning that extends beyond the linguistic content of the Qur’anic text. Third, these developments have produced a new "Epistemology of Reception," in which the Qur’an functions as an active social agent shaping religious and public life within Indonesian society. Implications: The study enriches Living Qur’an scholarship by offering an integrated framework for understanding the dynamic interaction between sacred texts and contemporary sociocultural contexts. Novelty: This study introduces the concept of "Epistemology of Reception," reconceptualizing the Qur’an as an active social force rather than merely an object of textual interpretation.
2026-07-05T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Solo International Collaboration and Publication of Social Sciences and Humanitieshttps://journal.walideminstitute.com/index.php/sicopus/article/view/602The Impact of PP-PKH on the Economic Welfare of Decile 1–2 Households through Maqasid al-Shariah-Based Economic Empowerment: Evidence from Panca Mulya Village, South Sumatera2026-07-06T10:28:48+07:00Muharirmuharir@uigm.ac.idSapridasaprida@uigm.ac.idMelia Frastutimelia_frastuti@uigm.ac.idRica Naysilla Chandraricanysillachandra@gmail.comSatria Saputerasatriasaputera0101@gmail.com
Objective: This study aims to examine the effect of the Protection and Empowerment Program through the Family Hope Program (PP-PKH) on the economic welfare of households in decile groups 1–2 in Panca Mulya Village, while investigating the mediating role of Maqasid al-Shariah-based economic empowerment in strengthening the relationship between social protection and community welfare. Theoretical framework: The research is based on social protection theory integrated with the Maqasid al-Shariah framework, emphasizing that empowerment grounded in Islamic values promotes sustainable welfare beyond financial assistance alone. Literature review: Previous studies primarily emphasize the direct impact of PKH on welfare, while limited research explores the mediating role of Islamic-based economic empowerment in strengthening program effectiveness. Method: This study employs a quantitative explanatory design, collecting data through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, which are analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3. Results: The findings demonstrate that PP-PKH positively influences both community economic welfare and Maqasid al-Shariah-based economic empowerment. Economic empowerment also has a significant positive effect on welfare and serves as a mediating variable, indicating that the program's effectiveness is strengthened when social assistance is accompanied by empowerment strategies rooted in Islamic economic values. Implications: The results suggest that social protection policies should integrate Islamic-based economic empowerment to enhance the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of poverty alleviation programs. Novelty: This study introduces an integrated model that links the Family Hope Program (PKH) with Maqasid al-Shariah based economic empowerment, demonstrating its mediating role in improving community economic welfare.
2026-07-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Solo International Collaboration and Publication of Social Sciences and Humanitieshttps://journal.walideminstitute.com/index.php/sicopus/article/view/603Government Coordination in Implementing Digital Innovation-Based Health Malpractice Investigations in DKI Jakarta Province2026-07-06T21:28:16+07:00Mochamad Nu’aim Qomarudinmnuaim83@gmail.com
Objective: This study aims to analyze governmental coordination in the investigation of medical malpractice specifically within the context of digital innovation in DKI Jakarta Province; to identify factors facilitating or hindering such coordination; and to formulate strategies to strengthen coordination and enhance the effectiveness of health law enforcement. Theoretical framework: The study employs George R. Terry’s Coordination Theory, which emphasizes the importance of goal alignment, task distribution, communication, and inter-agency synchronization, alongside Digital Innovation Theory, which explains the use of digital technology to improve organizational governance effectiveness. Literature review: Previous research has generally addressed medical malpractice from the perspectives of criminal law, professional ethics, or patient protection; however, studies regarding the integration of governmental coordination with digital innovation in the investigation process remain limited. Method: This study utilizes a qualitative method with a descriptive approach based on a constructivist paradigm. Data collection involved primary sources (interviews, observations, and documentation) and secondary sources (laws and regulations, policy documents, and scholarly literature). Results: The study reveals that while governmental coordination is supported by adequate regulations, implementation faces obstacles such as fragmented authority, weak cross-sector communication, a lack of integrated information systems, and suboptimal use of digital technology to support investigations. Implications: The findings recommend regulatory harmonization, the development of cross-sector standard operating procedures, the establishment of a permanent coordination forum, the integration of digital platforms, and human resource capacity building to strengthen investigation effectiveness. Novelty: This study proposes the Digital Collaborative Investigation Model (DCIM), a digital innovation-based governmental coordination model that integrates regulations, institutional frameworks, digital information systems, and human resources to achieve medical malpractice investigations that are more effective, transparent, collaborative, and accountable.
2026-07-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Solo International Collaboration and Publication of Social Sciences and Humanities
